Complaint

On or about January 27, 1995 a ramp inspection was conducted, at San Francisco International Airport, by inspectors from the San Francisco International Field Office ("SFO-IFO") on a WestAir aircraft registration No. N20 1 YW, an Embraer EMB- l 20-RT. This inspection was the result of a passenger complaint to WestAir.

During this inspection it was noted that the right engine air inlet fairing was installed incorrectly. The air inlet fairing was incorrectly installed on the right engine when it was designed to be used on the left engine. Respondent is subject to a civil penalty not to exceed $ 10,000.00 for each of the violations alleged.
