We are publishing this notice in response to Presidential Executive Order No. 12866, directing certain Federal agencies to periodically review their regulations. We need to ensure that they are consistent with statutory authority and are in the public interest. Your comments will assist us in conducting this review and in determining what actions we should take, if any. Comments should be submitted on or before October 11, 2000.
