Docket 29069 | November 21, 1997
AMR Eagle, Inc. (Eagle), on behalf of all Eagle certificate holders, petitions the Federal Aviation Administration (FM) for relief from certain provisions of FAR Part 121 to the extent necessary to permit pilots to transfer from one Eagle certificate holder to another Eagle certificate holder subject to the conditions and limitations set forth within the Eagle Base Training Program outlined herein.
Additional compliance with initial operating experience and consolidation accomplishes little if anything. All Eagle fleets have standard cockpits. All line check airmen are trained by the Eagle Training Center. All record keeping and forms used by the line check airmen are standardized. All line operating manuals are standardized. The Eagle Training Center schedules all initial and recurrent line checks for each Eagle carrier and all initial operating experience and consolidation of experience is recorded in the same FOS system.
