Oceanair received an allocation from ANAC dated December 10, 2007, to operate seven weekly roundtrip frequencies in scheduled combination service between Brazil and the United States.

Oceanair's proposed service will be daily roundtrip scheduled combination service operating nonstop between Sao Paulo and Los Angeles with Boeing 767-322 ER aircraft. The aircraft will have a seating of capacity of 203 seats in two-class configuration. This service is planned to commence within sixty days of receiving necessary authorizations from the Department and other relevant U.S. agencIes. As indicated below, Oceanair has in its fleet the Boeing 767 aircraft to operate this service. As indicated above, Oceanair will operate the Sao Paulo-Los Angeles service with Boeing 767-322 ER aircraft in its current fleet.

Oceanair was founded in 1998 as an air taxi company to operate services for oil companies in Campos Basin of Brazil. Oceanair began to operate scheduled services in 2002 between Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Macae and Campos. Currently, it operates extensive services in Brazil with operations at Santos Dumont Airport in Rio de Janeiro, Congonhas Airport in Sao Paulo, and thirty other destinations in Brazil. These services are operated with Boeing 737, Fokker 100, and Fokker 50 aircraft. Oceanair began international service in 2007 with the inauguration of nonstop service between Sao Paulo and Mexico City with Boeing 767 aircraft.

Re: Polling Results

This is to advise that Oceanair has completed polling of all carrier served with this application and all indicated no objection to it. Accordingly, Oceanair requests grant of the requested authority as soon as possible so that marketing can begin for service planned to start on or about June 1.
