Joint Application for a Codesharing Statement of Authorization

Aerovias de Mexico, S.A. de C.V. and Aerolitoral, S.A. de C.V. d/b/a Aeromexico Connect respectfully request that the Department grant the following authorizations to permit the Joint Applicants to expand their Mexico-U.S. code-share/blocked space services: a) Exemption authority for one year to Aeromexico to the extent necessary to permit it to engage in scheduled foreign air transportation of persons, property and mail between Puerto Peñasco, Mexico and Los Angeles, California, and between Hermosillo, Mexico, and Las Vegas, Nevada, under its code share agreement with Aerolitoral; b) Statement of authorization for an indefinite period to permit Aerolitoral to display Aeromexico’s "AM" designator code on flights operated by Aerolitoral on the routes listed in paragraph (a) above. Aerolitoral currently holds exemption authority to serve the pertinent routes. See Dockets OST-2007-29021 and OST-2007-29208.

Notice of Action Taken

Exemption from 49 USC §41301 to permit Aeromexico to engage in scheduled foreign air transportation of persons, property, and mail between: 1) Puerto Penasco, Mexico, and Los Angeles, California; and 2) Hermosillo, Mexico, and Las Vegas, Nevada. Aeromexico proposes to conduct these services only through a code-share arrangement with Aerolitoral.

Statement of authorization under 14 CFR Part 212 to permit Aerolitoral to display the Aeromexico designator code (AM*) on flights operated by Aerolitoral between: 1) Puerto Penasco, Mexico, and Los Angeles, California; and 2) Hermosillo, Mexico, and Las Vegas, Nevada.
