Application for a Statement of Authorization

Hereby requests a statement of authorization pursuant to 14 C.F.R. Part 212 for authority to display the two-letter "SK" designator code of Scandinavian Airlines System on the New York (JFK) - Gothenburg, Sweden (GOT) segment of Emirates' all-cargo flights between the United States and the United Arab Emirates via Gothenburg, Sweden.

Emirates operates its Dubai-Gothenburg-New York (JFK) all-cargo service utilizing aircraft wet leased from Atlas Air. See Application of Atlas Air, Inc. for a Statement of Authorization (Emirates Wet Lease), July 25, 2003 (2003-7), approval issued August 11, 2003 (undocketed).

Re: Polling Results

On behalf of Emirates, we have polled the representatives of all carriers on the service list attached to the Application of Emirates for a Statement of Authorization, filed February 27, 2007, in the above-referenced docket. All carriers' representatives have advised us that they have no objection to the granting of this application.
