Essential Air Service at Excursion Inlet, Alaska Order 2007-5-10 Issued May 17, 2007 | Served May 22, 2007 By this order, the Department is requesting proposals from carriers interested in providing essential air service at Excursion Inlet, Alaska, consisting of two round trips per week during the summer peak season, and one round trip per week during the winter off-peak season, for a new two-year period, with or without subsidy, beginning September 1, 2007. Specifically for Excursion Inlet, we request proposals for service consisting of two round trips per week during the summer peak season, and one round trip per week during the winter off-peak season, for a new two-year period. We encourage proposals that meet those requirements in an efficient manner. Carriers are also welcome to propose more than one option, if they choose; they need not limit themselves to those requirements if they envision other, potentially more attractive service possibilities - different hubs, for example - with subsidy requirements that remain competitive.
