American Airlines, Inc. OST-2006-26387 - Exemption and Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity - Miami-Valencia, Venezuela November 15, 2006 Application for Exemption and Certificate Authority American Airlines, Inc. hereby applies for an exemption and for a certificate of public convenience and necessity authorizing scheduled foreign air transportation of persons, property, and mail between Miami, Florida and Valencia, Venezuela. American proposes to start daily year-round service on April 10, 2007, or upon securing all required governmental authorizations, using 148-seat 737-800 aircraft (16F/132Y). In response to the Department's notice of August 23, 2005 on streamlining regulatory procedures for licensing U.S. and foreign air carriers (OST-2005-22228), American seeks a certificate of public convenience and necessity as well as exemption authority to serve between Miami and Valencia.
