Global Jet Luxembourg S.A. OST-2006-26211 - Exemption - Luxembourg-US Executive Charters October 25, 2006 Application for Exemption Authority Global Jet Luxembourg S.A. hereby requests an exemption from 49 U.S.C. § 41301 in order to engage in (i) charter foreign air transportation of persons and property between any point or points in Luxembourg and any point or points in the United States, either directly or via intermediate points in other countries, with or without stopovers, and beyond. Simultaneously with the filing of this application, GJL is filing a foreign air carrier permit application with accompanying exhibits. Consistent with the Department’s Notice Regarding Streamlining Procedures released on August 23, 2005 (Docket OST-2005-22228), GJL requests that this exemption authority be granted for a period of two years or until foreign air carrier permit authority issued to GJL becomes effective, whichever is sooner, and that the Department issue a show-cause order to award a foreign air carrier permit to the applicant for an indefinite duration.
