By this application ICARO S.A. seeks exemption authority in order to conduct charters services between Ecuador and United States starting on July 28th 2006 using a Boeing 737-200 aircraft under Ecuadorian Registration dry leased from SAFAIR.

In December 2005 and January 2006, ICARO incorporated to its fleet two BOEING 737-200 with -17 engines dry leased from SAFAIR and a DASH 8 201 aircraft leased from CIT corporation.

Application for Renewal of Exemption and Statement of Authorization

ICARO is a corporation organized and existing under the laws of Ecuador. ICARO was first authorized to serve the United States in 2006 on a charter basis by exemption authority which is currently the subject of this renewal application. ICARO’s fleet that would serve the United States consists of B737, B757 and B767.

ICARO first received  Ecuador-U.S. charter authority pursuant to a NOAT issued on  21 December  2006.  ICARO did not operate service between Ecuador and the United States during the 2007 calendar year. However during calendar year 2008 ICARO intends to operate a service pattern that consists of charter service between Quito and Miami, and Guayaquil and Miami.
