Delta Air Lines, Inc. OST-2006-23509 - Statement of Authorization - Boston-Cancun Codesharing with Aeromexico December 30, 2005 Application for a Statement of Authorization Delta Air Lines hereby applies for a statement of authorization under 14 CFR Part 212 to permit Delta to display the "AM*" airline designator code of Aeromexico on nonstop flights operated by Delta between Boston, Massachusetts (BOS) and Cancun, Mexico (CUN) commencing on or about June 3, 2006. Delta requests that this authority be granted as soon as possible and remain in effect for an indefinite term, consistent with the duration of the US-Mexico codeshare authorities granted by Order 1996-6-6. Aeromexico desires to display its designator code on Delta's nonstop flights. Both Delta and Aeromexico hold the necessary underlying authority to provide service between Boston and Cancun. See Delta Notice of Action Taken dated December 15, 2005 (Docket OST-2005-22620); Aeromexico Notice of Action Taken dated November 9, 2005 (Docket OST-2003-16269).
