Essential Air Service at Lebanon, New Hampshire Order 2006-5-3 Issued and Served May 2, 2006 Order Requesting Proposals | Word By Order 2004-11-12, November 5, 2004, the Department selected Colgan Air, Inc., d/b/a US Airways Express, to provide EAS at Lebanon for the two-year period through September 30, 2006, at the annual subsidy rate of $998,752, consisting of 18 round trips a week to LaGuardia International Airport with 19-seat Beech 1900D aircraft. As the end of the current rate term approaches, in order to provide sufficient time to complete the carrier-selection process before the current contract expires, we are here requesting proposals from carriers interested in providing service at Lebanon, with or without subsidy support, for the two-year period beginning October 1, 2006. Carriers should file their proposals within 30 days of the date of service of this order. Specifically for Lebanon, we request proposals for service consisting of 18 round trips a week to New York with two-pilot, twin-engine aircraft with at least 15 passenger seats, or 12 round trips a week with larger aircraft. We encourage proposals that meet those requirements in an efficient manner. Carriers are also welcome to propose more than one option, if they choose; they need not limit themselves to those requirements if they envision other, potentially more attractive service possibilities different hubs, for example with subsidy requirements that remain competitive.
