Essential Air Service at DuBois, Pennsylvania Order 2006-4-10 Issued April 7, 2006 | Served April 12, 2006 By Order 2004-8-18, August 19,2004, the Department selected Air Midwest, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Mesa Air Group, Inc. to provide subsidized EAS at DuBois through July 31,2006, at the annual rate of $643,818. Air Midwest’s service consists of 19 nonstop round trips a week to Pittsburgh with 19-seat Beech 1900D aircraft. As the end of the current rate term approaches, we are here requesting proposals from carriers interested in providing service at DuBois, with or without subsidy, for the two-year period beginning August 1, 2006. Carriers should file their proposals within 30 days of the date of service of this order. With specific respect to DuBois, we expect proposals to consist of service, at a minimum, with two-pilot, twin-engine aircraft having at least 15 passenger seats. Proposals should offer three nonstop round trips to Pittsburgh each weekday and three or four over the weekend (18 or 19 round trips a week) with 19-seat aircraft, or two round trips a day (12 a week) with 30-seat or larger aircraft.
