Application for an Exemption

By this application, Aeromexico seeks an exemption to engage in scheduled foreign air transportation of persons, property and mail between Mexico City, Mexico and San Antonio, Texas. On or about February 1, 2006, Aeromexico proposes to offer three nonstop round trips per week between Mexico City and San Antonio, utilizing B-737-700 or other appropriate aircraft. The proposed competitive nonstop services will generate significant benefits for the traveling and shipping public.

By this application, Aeromexico seeks renewal of its exemption authority to provide service between Mexico City and San Antonio. The authority was granted by Notice of Action Taken, dated January 11, 2007, and currently is set to expire on January 11, 2008. Aeromexico currently is serving the market with daily nonstop round trips. The response to the service has been satisfactory and Aeromexico wants to continue the service for another year.
