OST-2005-22198 - Exemption - US-UK August 19, 2005 American Airlines, Inc., under 49 USC 40109, hereby applies for an exemption authorizing scheduled foreign air transportation of persons, property, and mail between points in the United States and points in the United Kingdom (excluding London's Heathrow and Gatwick airports), with the right to integrate such authority with American's certificates and other exemptions. Filed August 19, 2005 | Issued September 15, 2005 Scheduled foreign air transportation of persons, property and mail between points in the United States and points in the United Kingdom (excluding London’s Heathrow and Gatwick airports). July 10, 2007 Application for Renewal of Exemption American Airlines, Inc., under 49 USC 40109, hereby applies for renewal of its exemption, initially granted by Notice of Action Taken in this docket on September 15, 2005, authorizing scheduled foreign air transportation of persons, property, and mail between points in the United States and points in the United Kingdom (excluding London's Heathrow and Gatwick airports). By Order 2007-4-2, April 3, 2007, the Department granted certificate authority to American under the U.S.-EU open skies agreement effective March 30, 2008. March 31, 2008 Re: List of Certificates and Exemptions Superseded by US-EU Open-Skies American Airlines, Inc., in light of the March 30, 2008 effective date of U.S.-EU open skies, and American's open skies certificate for Route 835, Order 2007-4-2, April 1, 2007, hereby provides a list of its certificates and exemptions that have been superseded and are no longer required.
