Aeromexico proposes to offer nonstop service over the route four days per week with B‑737‑700 or other appropriate aircraft. This would provide the first nonstop service in the Leon (El Bajio)‑Chicago market.

Application for Renewal of Exemption Authority

By this application, Aeromexico seeks renewal of its exemption authority to provide service between Leon/El Bajio and Chicago. The authority was granted by Notice of Action Taken, dated February 13, 2007, and currently is set to expire on February 13, 2008. Aeromexico currently is serving the market with daily one slop service but it wants to retain the nonstop authority in the event traffic warrants such service. Thus, it wants to renew the exemption for another year.
