Joint Application for Exemptions and Code-Share Statement of Authorization

By this application, Aeromexico seeks an exemption to engage in foreign scheduled air transportation of persons, property and mail between Puerto Vallarta and Salt Lake City by displaying its "AM" designator code on Delta‑operated flights.

Delta recently was granted exemption authority to provide service on the Puerto Vallarta-Salt Lake City route, and it proposes to institute service on or about November 1, 2005. See, Notice of Action Taken dated June 6, 2005 (Docket OST-2005-21075).

Statement of authorization under 14 CFR Part 212 to permit Delta to display the Aeromexico designator code (AM) on flights operated by Delta between Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and Salt Lake City, Utah, for an indefinite period.

By this application, Aeromexico seeks renewal of its exemption authority to provide service between Puerto Vallarta and Salt Lake City. The authority currently is set to expire on January 31, 2007. Aeromexico currently is serving the route by displaying its "AM" code on six weekly nonstop round trips operated by Delta.
