Air Comet S.A. OST-04-19850 - Spain-US Permit to Perform Charter Foreign Air Transportation December 6, 2004 Application for Renewal of Permit to Perform Charter Foreign Air Transportation On March 19, 1997, see Order 97-4-28, Docket OST-97-2197, the Department granted exemption authority from 49 U.S.C. 41301 to conduct operations as described in paragraph 1 above until March 19, 1998. The Department granted further renewals of exemption authority from April 13, 1998 to April 13, 1999, see, Notice of Action Taken dated April 13, 1998, Docket OST-97-2197; and from April 30, 1999 to April 30, 2000, see, Notice of Action Taken dated April 30, 1999, Docket OST-97-2197. By Order 99-12-9, Docket OST-97-2196, the Department granted Air Comet a foreign air carrier permit to perform charter foreign air transportation to December 8, 2004. OST-2004-19850 - Foreign Air Carrier Permit - Spain-US Charter/Scheduled Passenger April 14, 2005 Application for Renewal of Its Foreign Air Carrier Permit - Updated Financial Information Air Comet hereby files supplemental financial information concerning Exhibit B, the PriceWaterhouseCoopers audit report for the year ended February 28, 2003. Counsel: Rosen Weinhaus, John Romans, 212-797-1900 Order 2006-7-22 Issued and Served July 20, 2006 Order Granting Exemption and To Show Cause By application dated December 6, 2004, as amended March 11, 2005, and supplemented April 14, 2005, Air Comet requests that we renew its existing foreign air carrier permit, issued by Order 1999-12-9, which authorizes the carrier to engage in charter foreign air transportation of persons, property and mail between Spain and the United States, and to conduct other charters in accordance with 14 CFR Part 212. In addition to renewing this authority, Air Comet requests that we amend its permit to authorize it to engage in scheduled foreign air transportation of persons, property and mail between a point or points in Spain, on the one hand, and New York, New York, on the other hand. Air Comet requests that we grant this renewed and amended permit for an indefinite period, coextensive with the bilateral aviation agreement between the United States and Spain. By: Paul Gretch Order 2006-10-6 Issued July 20, 2006 | Served October 11, 2006 By Order 2006-7-22, issued July 20,2006, we directed all interested persons to show cause why we should not make final our tentative findings and conclusions stated therein and award a foreign air carrier permit in the form attached to the Order and subject to the conditions attached thereto. We gave interested persons 21 days to file objections to the Order. We said that if no objections are filed, all further procedural steps shall be deemed waived, and the Department will enter an order which will make final the findings and conclusions of the Order. No objections were received within the time period provided. We make final our findings and conclusions as stated in the Order and award to Air Comet S.A., d/b/a Air Plus Comet the renewed and amended foreign air carrier permit. By: Paul Gretch |
