Application for Allocation of Frequencies

American Airlines, Inc. hereby applies for allocation of seven weekly combination frequencies in order to provide scheduled foreign air transportation of persons, property, and mail between Dallas/Ft. Worth, Texas and Osaka, Japan. American proposes to begin nonstop service between Dallas/Ft. Worth and Osaka on November 1, 2005, using 236-seat B777 aircraft (16F/35C/185Y). American holds certificate authority to serve the Dallas/Ft. Worth-Osaka route, granted by Order 98-5-17, May 7, 1998 (Route-752), timely renewal application filed in OST-98-3419, November 5, 2002.

Eastbound, American's flights will depart Dallas/Ft. Worth at noon and arrive in Osaka at 5:15 pm the next day. Westbound, American's flights will depart Osaka at 7:10 pm and arrive in Dallas/Ft. Worth at 3:45 pm the same day.

American holds certificate authority to serve the Dallas/Ft. Worth-Osaka market.  See Order 98-5-17, May 7, 1998.  This authority has been kept in force under 14 CFR Part 377 since American filed a timely renewal application in Docket OST-98-3419
