United Air Lines, Inc. OST-04-17676 - Exemption - Denver-Ixtapa/Zihuatenejo, Denver-San Jose del Cabo April 29, 2004 United seeks an exemption authorizing it to provide scheduled foreign air transportation of persons, property and mail between Denver International Airport and Ixtapa/Zihuatenejo, Mexico (DEN‑ZIH); and between Denver International Airport and San Jose del Cabo, Mexico (DEN‑SJD). For each of these city pairs, United initially proposes to operate Saturday service on a seasonal basis during the months of December through April. The services will start in December 2004. From its Denver hub, United serves 89 non‑stop destinations, offering connection opportunities to points throughout United's network system. Currently, only one carrier is designated and operating nonstop service in each of these city pairs. United intends to continue to operate seasonal nonstop service with its own aircraft in these markets.
