Application for a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity

Kitty Hawk requests certificate authority to provide scheduled foreign transportation of property and mail between the United States and the countries identified in Appendix A. The issuance of permanent certificate authority avoids the requirement to seek exemption authority as new marketing opportunities or operational considerations present themselves to Kitty Hawk. Issuance to Kitty Hawk of the authority sought herein will enhance Kitty Hawk's competitive position and enable it to more effectively compete with foreign air carriers, many of which dominate the markets between their homeland and the United States.
