OST-2003-16181 - Exemption - Monterrey-Miami September 15, 2003 Application for an Exemption | Word Application of Consorcio Aviacsa S.A. de C.V., pursuant to 49 USC Section 40109, requesting an exemption from 49 USC Section 41301, to permit Applicant to commence new scheduled air transportation of persons, property, and mail between Monterrey, Mexico and Miami, FL, and subject to Department regulations, between points in the United States and other points worldwide. Desires to commence scheduled air transportation between Monterrey Mexico (MTY) and Miami, Florida (MIA) commencing in November 2003, operating one round trip daily, with a Boeing-737 aircraft. On August 22, 2003, the Government of Mexico designated the Applicant for this route under the double designation authority. See Exhibit A. Continues to operate scheduled air transportation between Monterrey and Chicago, Monterrey and Las Vegas, Monterrey and Houston, Mexico City and Houston,Mexico City and Dallas, and Monterrey and Los Angeles under current exemptions. September 14, 2004 Application for Renewal of an Exemption | Word Applicant desires to continue one regularly scheduled flight daily between Monterrey, Mexico (MTY) and Miami, Florida (MIA). Pursuant to a Notice of Action Taken on October 3, 2003, the Department granted an exemption to the Applicant until October 3, 2004. Applicant continues to operate scheduled air transportation between Monterrey‑Chicago, Monterrey‑Las Vegas, Monterrey‑Houston, Mexico City‑Houston, Monterrey‑Los Angeles, Morelia‑Chicago and Mexico City‑Las Vegas under current exemptions. On August 22, 2003, the Government of Mexico designated the Applicant for this route under a double designation as indicated in the initial exemption application. Applicant desires to continue one regularly scheduled flight daily between Monterrey, Mexico and Miami, Florida. Applicant requests that the exemption, effective through March 12, 2008, as per Notice of Action Taken on March 12, 2007, be granted pending the Department’s approval of the amended permit application filed in 1998.
