Consorcio Aviacsa, S.A. de C.V. OST-2003-15407 - Exemption - Morelia-Chicago June 12, 2003 Application for an Exemption | Word Application of Consorcio Aviacsa S.A. de C.V. pursuant to 49 U.S.C. Section 40109 requesting an exemption from 49 U.S.C. Section 41301, to commence new scheduled air transportation of persons, property and mail between Morelia, Mexico and Chicago, Illinois, and between points in the United States and other points worldwide. Applicant desires to commence scheduled air transportation between Morelia, Mexico (MLM) and Chicago, Illinois (ORD) in the summer of 2003, operating two flights per week with a Boeing-727 aircraft. Applicant continues to operate scheduled air transportation between Monterrey-Chicago; Monterrey-Las Vegas; Monterrey-Houston; Mexico City-Houston; and, Monterrey-Los Angeles under current exemptions. Recently, the Applicant was granted two exemptions to provide scheduled air transportation between Mexico CityDallas and Mexico City-Las Vegas. On May 8, 2003, the Government of Mexico designated the Applicant for this route and the U.S. Government was notified accordingly. Applicant continues to operate scheduled air transportation between Monterrey‑Chicago; Monterrey‑Las Vegas; Monterrey‑Houston; Mexico City‑Houston; Mexico City‑Las Vegas; Monterrey‑Miami; and, Monterrey‑Los Angeles under current exemptions. February 23, 2006 Application for Renewal of an Exemption | Word Applicant desires to continue scheduled air transportation between Morelia, Mexico and Chicago, Illinois, operating two flights per week with a Boeing-727 aircraft. The Government of Mexico designated the Applicant for this route on May 8, 2003. The Department issued the initial exemption in June 2003. Counsel for Applicant inadvertently failed to apply for a renewal in June 2005 and desires to correct this oversight with this application. Applicant continues to operate scheduled air transportation between Monterrey-Chicago; Monterrey-Las Vegas; Monterrey-Houston; Mexico City-Houston; Mexico City-Las Vegas; Monterrey-Miami; and, Monterrey-Los Angeles under other exemptions. OST-1999-6701 - Exemption - Monterrey- Las Vegas Filed February 17 and February 24, 2006 | Issued March 17, 2006 Exemption from 49 USC § 41301 to permit the applicant to conduct scheduled foreign air transportation of persons, property, and mail between: 1) Monterrey, Mexico, and Las Vegas, Nevada; 2) Mexico City, Mexico, and Las Vegas, Nevada; 3) Monterrey, Mexico, and Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas; and 4) Morelia, Mexico, and Chicago, Illinois. Aviaxsa styled its requests in the captioned Dockets as renewal requests. We note, however, that the applicant’s previous authority in these Dockets had lapsed. March 12, 2007 Withdrawal of Application | Word Consorcio Aviaxsa S.A. de C.V. hereby withdraws its application for renewal of an exemption to provide scheduled transportation of persons, property and mail between Morelia, Mexico and Chicago, Illinois and, subject to Department regulations, between points in the United States and other points worldwide.
