Application for Renewal of Exemption Authority
Hereby applies for renewal of its exemption authority from 49 U.S.C. §4130 to engage in scheduled all-cargo operations between the co-terminal points Mexico City / Guadalajara / Monteney, Mexico and the Dayton, Ohio.
AeroUnion was formed in order to serve as a Mexican‑flag, inter‑American wide‑body all‑cargo air carrier to operate flights from Mexico to the U.S., as well as to Canada, and to points in Latin America using Airbus A‑300‑B4 freighter equipment. The overwhelming majority of U.S.‑Mexico all‑cargo lift is provided by U.S.‑flag all‑cargo carriers (e.g. Fed Ex, UPS, Emery, Amerijet, DHL, plus numerous U.S.‑flag charter operations). AeroUnion will continue to provide dedicated A‑300‑B4 all‑cargo services between Mexico and the U.S. thereby offering shippers in the proposed markets a Mexicanflag, wide‑body carrier option in this market. Grant of this application is therefore in the public interest.
