United Air Lines, Inc.

OST-02-13204 August 20, 2002 Application for Statement of Authorization Blind Sector Codeshare for Mexicana:  Beyond U.S. to Buenos Aires, Argentina and Paris, France
    Service List

Mexicana proposes to offer service between points in Mexico and both Paris, France, and Buenos Aires, Argentina, via connections in the U.S. to United operated flights to those cities. Passengers will be transported under Mexicana's code from points in Mexico to Chicago and Washington where they will connect to United's nonstop flights between Chicago and Paris. Mexicana also will carry passengers between both Mexico City and Cancun and Miami where they will connect to United's Miami-Buenos Aires flights. United will display Mexicana's "MX" designator code on United's Chicago-Paris, Washington-Paris and Miami-Buenos Aires flights, enabling Mexicana to offer additional online connecting services.  Mexicana's code will be displayed on United's Chicago-Paris, Washington-Paris, and Miami-Buenos Aires flights only on a blind-sector basis for Mexicana traffic moving between Mexico and these third-country points. Mexicana will not sell service under its designator code to local U.S.-Paris or U.S.-Buenos Aires traffic.  The carriers plan to begin offering code-share service between Miami and Buenos Aires, on October 1, 2002, and want to open for sale as soon as possible.
