The Republic of Nauru is no longer the air transport authority with regulatory supervision over Air Nauru's operations. Air Nauru is now subject to the regulatory jurisdiction of the Australian Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA). Air Nauru's single aircraft is under Australian registry and bears the registration mark of VH-RON. Air Nauru operates pursuant to an Australian Air Operators Certificate and is governed by Australian civil aviation legislation and regulation. Aircraft maintenance is performed by Qantas and is supervised by an independent maintenance controller approved by CASA.
