Aerovias de Mexico, S.A.de C.V.
| OST-01-9518 | April 23, 2001 | Application for Exemption | Acapulco- Los Angeles |
| Service List |
By this exemption request, Aeromexico seeks authority to engage in scheduled foreign air transportation of persons, property and mail between Acapulco, Mexico, and Los Angeles, California. The service initially is expected to consist of four weekly round trips on Thursdays, Fridays Saturdays and Sundays, operated with MD-80 aircraft.
There currently is no single-plane service in the market so that Aeromexico's proposed nonstop service will provide significant benefits for U.S.-Mexico passengers and shippers and is consistent with the public interest.
