Application for Renewal of an Exemption | Word
Applicant desires to continue scheduled air transportation between Monterrey Mexico and Las Vegas, Nevada, operating two flights per week with a Boeing-727 aircraft. Counsel for the Applicant inadvertently failed to apply for renewal of the exemption in June 2002 and desires to correct this oversight.
Applicant continues to operate scheduled air transportation between Monterrey-Chicago; Monterrey-Dallas-Fort Worth; Monterrey-Houston; Mexico City-Houston; Mexico City-Las Vegas; Monterrey-Miami; and, Monterrey-Los Angeles under other exemptions.

Aviaxsa styled its requests in the captioned Dockets as renewal requests. We note, however, that the applicant’s previous authority in these Dockets had lapsed. Our action here thus does not in fact constitute a renewal.

Our March 17, 2006 action also awarded Aviaxsa authority to operate between Morelia. Mexico, and Chicago, Illinois. in an additional Docket (OST-2003-15407). Aviaxsa has withdrawn its renewal application for that authority.

Application for Renewal of an Exemption
Hereby applies for renewal of an exemption from 49 U.S.C. 41301 under the provisions of 49 U.S.C. 40109 to permit Applicant to continue scheduled air transportation of persons, property and mail between Monterrey, Mexico and Las Vegas, Nevada in the USA operating a Boeing-737 aircraft.
Applicant has ten (10) active exemptions to operate between Mexico and the United States. These include MTY-LAX, docket # 6745; MTY-HOU, docket # 8018; MEX-HOU, docket # 9629; MEX-LAS docket # 15313; MTY-DFW, docket # 15406; MTY-MIA, docket # 16181; CUN-MIA, docket # 26503; Air Taxi, docket # 27827; MTY-JFK, docket # 0128; and, GDL-LAX, docket # 0129.
Applicant had filed for a Permit but the Department has never acted on the application. See Docket 3512.
