October 21, 2005
Amendment No. 1 to Application for Renewal of Certificate Authority
UPS requests that the first sentence of the Renewal Application be replaced with the following sentences:
Hereby applies for renewal of its certificate for Route 569 so as to authorize UPS to engage in scheduled foreign air transportation of property and mail between the following U.S-Mexico route segments: Austin-Monterrey, Houston- Mexico City, Louisville-Guadalajara, Louisville-Mexico City, Louisville-Monterrey, San Antonio-Guadalajara and San Antonio-Monterrey. UPS is not requesting renewal of the originally-awarded certificate authority for the Houston-Guadalajara and San Antonio-Mexico City markets, as those markets have become dormant and expired automatically pursuant to the terms of the certificate.
