Application for a Renewal of Exemption

Counsel: Daniel Elizondo, 210-927-2581

Filed April 14, 2005 | Issued June 12, 2008

Notice of Action Taken

Renewal of exemption under 49 USC §40109 to permit the applicant to conduct passenger charter operations between Mexico and the United States, and other passenger charters in accordance with 14 CFR Part 212, using small equipment. The applicant also requests renewal of its stopover privileges and continued relief from the requirement to provide advance notice of each flight, or series of flights, between Mexico and the United States.

On May 23, 2006, the applicant filed an additional application. Although the application was styled in the form of a renewal request, we are treating it as a supplement to the April 14, 2005 renewal application, to the extent that it provides updated information as to some aspects of the original renewal request.

We have decided, on our own initiative and in the interest of administrative efficiency, to grant the applicant’s exemption authority for a two-year term.
