Donald R. L. Pieters, Chief Inspector, is no longer with Abaco Air. our Chief Inspector is now Julian R. Seepersaud, citizen of Guyana, who meets the requirements to hold this position. Abaco Air's Authority to conduct charters into Florida is based on principles of comity and reciprocity between the Bahamas and the United States. Abaco Air submits that the continuation of this authorization is warranted, given the harmonious state of aviation relations between the United States and the Bahamas.

Abaco Air continues to be fit, willing and able to provide the small aircraft passenger charter service for which it requests renewed authority. Abaco Air Ltd. remains Bahamian owned and Bahamian controlled. Abaco Air Ltd. 's Authority to conduct charters into Florida is based on principles of comity and reciprocity between the Bahamas and the United States. Abaco Air Ltd. submits that the continuation of this authorization is warranted given the harmonious state of aviation relations between the United States and the Bahamas.

Abaco Air Limited hereby applies for renewal of its exemption to engage in charter foreign air transportation of persons, property and mail between the Bahamas and Florida, using small equipment.
The Department granted the above authority to Abaco Air Ltd. by Notice of Action Taken dated February 02, 2005. Abaco Air requests that this Authority, which is scheduled to expire on March 1st, 2006, be renewed for a period of at least one year.
