OST-98-4837

Delta Air Lines, Inc.

OST-98-4837 December 2, 1998 pdficon.gif (87 bytes)Ninety Day Notice of Termination of Service Scheduled Service to Bangor, Maine
    Service List
Attachment 1:  Scheduled Airline Service to Bangor, Maine (Various Dates)

After Delta's termination of service, Bangor will continue to receive substantially more than the level of service established as essential. Based on the latest information available, Bangor will receive at least 938 seats each weekday to and from the major hubs of Boston, Cincinnati and New York/Newark.

Delta understands that Comair, operating as The Delta Connection, intends to commence three daily nonstop round-trip flights on March 2, 1999 between Bangor and Cincinnati using 50-seat Canadair regional jet aircraft. This will provide a significant improvement in Bangor's jet service to points in the Midwest and West, since Delta's current Cincinnati service is offered twice a day and operates on a one-stop basis over Portland.
