Application of The Community of Flint

The Bishop International Airport is situated near the interchange of I-7S, US 23, and 1-69. With this convenient location the airport serves all or part of the following Michigan counties: Genesee, Tuscola, Livingston, Oakland, Shiawassee, and Saginaw. In total, the proposed service would provide nonstop jet access to Washington's Ronald Reagan National Airport to a minimum of 927,500 people.

The Bishop International Airport service area has a large and diverse economic base, which would undoubtedly benefit from the availability of nonstop service to Washington's Ronald Reagan National Airport.

Re:  Withdrawal of Application

On behalf of the Community of Flint, Michigan, I hereby withdraw the application for relief from the High Density Rule in the above referenced Docket. While Flint remains vitally interested in gaining access to Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, and expects to pursue its goal by all available means, the application is being withdrawn at the current time.
