For the time being, PAL will offer service to New York pursuant to its codeshare agreement with American Airlines. Service to New York would include the right to operate via the intermediate point Vancouver, Canada with full traffic rights between Vancouver and New York. Concurrently with this request, American is filing an application pursuant to Part 207 of the Department's regulations requesting a statement of authorization to display the "PR" designator code between Los Angeles-Newark and Vancouver-New York.
