The agreement increases normal first and intermediate [business] class fares, and normal economy and special [discount] fares, from Zimbabwe to North America by twenty and ten percent, respectively. These increases replace smaller, previously-adopted increases, and are required to help offset depreciation in the national currency. Although the increases affect fares to United States points, we will not attach our usual condition regarding adherence to Standard Foreign Fare Level criteria since there are no direct services offered between the United States and Zimbabwe.
