Aero Jet Express, Mexican air taxi operator of executive aircraft, pursuant to 49 U.S.C. 40109 and subpart D of the Department's Procedural Regulations, requests an exemption from 49 U.S.C. 41301 to authorize it to engage in foreign charter air transportation of persons, with small aircraft between Mexico and the United States and, subject to prior Department approval, between other countries and the United States. As more fully described herein, we also requests limited stopover privileges and relief from the requirements to obtain advance approval for each Mexico-U.S. flight. Aero Jet Express requests that this exemption be granted for a period of at least one year.

Answers were due April 11, 1998.
