Amendment No. 2 to Application for Issuance of a Foreign Air Carrier Permit and Motion for Leave to Amend

UZB respectfully amends its Application for Issuance of a Foreign Air Carrier Permit to incorporate the rights detailed above as provided in the new Open Skies Agreement between the U.S. and the Republic of Uzbekistan. UZB further requests that, on the basis of the foregoing as well as UZB's original application, a foreign air carrier permit incorporating the requested authority be issued promptly, and that the Department grant such other and different relief as the Department deems to be consistent with the public interest.

		Appendix A: Foreign Air Carrier Permit

By application filed July 5, 1994, as amended March 16, 1998, Uzbekistan Airways requests that we issue it an initial foreign air cattier permit to conduct scheduled and charter operations, between Uzbekistan and the United States consistent with the provisions of the ''Open-Skies" aviation agreement between the United States and Uzbekistan.
