Applicatoin for Renewal of Exemption

American Airlines, Inc. hereby applies for renewal of its exemption, granted by Notice of Action Taken in this docket on January 15, 2004, authorizing scheduled foreign air transportation of persons, property, and mail between points in the US and points in Poland.

American used this authority to display the AA* code on flights between Zurich and Warsaw operated by Swiss (as authorized in OST-2002-12001). Effective November 1, 2005, the Zurich-Warsaw route is operated by Swiss European Airlines, which is seeking authorization in OST-2005-22725 to display the AA* code on this and other routes using regional jet aircraft. American also displays the AA* code on flights between London Heathrow and Warsaw operated by British Airways under blanket exemption authority granted by Order 2003-5-33.
