Delta Air Lines, Inc. (Renewal of Certificate of Public Convenience, New York/Boston-Nairobi)
OST-97-2946 | September 29, 1997
Application for Renewal of a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity
Renewal of Delta' s New York/Boston-Nairobi, Kenya route authority is fully consistent with the public interest, and with the Department's policies which establish a presumption of renewal of temporary certificate authority for limited-entry international routes Although Delta is not currently offering service on this route, Delta seeks renewal of this authority in order to retain the operational flexibility to initiate service as market conditions warrant. The traveling and shipping public will benefit from Delta's ability quickly to enter this market in response to public demand for such services.
