The agreement increases first and intermediate (business) class fares between the U.S. and Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay by two to six percent while levels for the same fare types for travel between the U.S. and Venezuela increase two to eleven percent with the northbound fares taking the greater increase. Changes to first and/or intermediate (business) class fares between the U.S. and Bolivia, Colombia and Peru, however, vary from increases of up to eight percent to decreases of up to six percent.

Special fares for travel between the U.S. and Brazil, Chile and Paraguay and from the U.S. to Argentina and Uruguay increase $10 and $20 for basic and peak season levels, respectively, while midweek special fares from Argentina and Paraguay increase three percent with weekend fares established at a reduced $50 differential, producing three to five percent decreases over present levels. Finally, changes in special fares between the U.S. and Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Panama and Peru range from increases of to five percent to reductions of up to twelve percent.
