Request for Withdrawal of Resolution 898a & Refund of Filing Fee

The resolution deals with the passenger agency conference, not the passenger services conference. Furthermore, the resolution previously had been filed with the Department in Docket OST-97-2607 and granted stamped approval and antitrust immunity on June 12, 1997. In Docket OST-97-2727, Resolution 898a should have been submitted for background information only.

Various members of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) have filed an agreement with the Department under section 41309 of Title 49 of the United States Code (the Code), and Part 303 of the Department's regulations. The agreement, dealing with electronic reservation services providers, was adopted by mail vote of the Passenger Services Conference.
