Application for Approval of Agreements

The 1996 TC3 Conference adopted the Government approved levels prevailing in October 96 for intended effect 1 April 97. That Conference additionally adopted a 5% increase to South East Asia for effect 1 April 97. Subsequently the LK Government approved both the 3~c fuel increase plus a commercial increase of 15%. As a result, the IATA adopted fares are now 12.8% lower than Government approved levels. It is proposed therefore to adopt the new Government approved levels into the IATA data base. As the approved fares show rounding differences in some cases, it is proposed to adopt the actual Government approved levels.
