By Notice of Action Taken in Docket OST 97-2506, dated May 29, 1997, and confirmed in Order 97-6-32, the Department granted Aeromexpress an exemption to engage in scheduled, all-cargo foreign air transportation between Guadalajara and Los Angeles. By Notice of Action Taken dated December 11, 2002, the Department renewed the exemption authority through December 11, 2003. Although Aeromexpress currently is not serving the route, it has done so in the past and intends to resume service when warranted by traffic demands. Thus, Aeromexpress desires to retain the authority for another year.
