By Notice of Action Taken dated February 20, 1997, as confirmed by Order 97-3-6, Delta was granted exemption authority to provide scheduled foreign air transportation between Atlanta and Dallas/Ft. Worth, on the one hand, and-Cancun, on the other, for a two year period expiring February 20, 1999. This authority was granted in conjunction with a Statement of Authorization that allows Aerovias de Mexico, S.A. de C.V. to display Delta's "DL" designator code on nonstop Atlanta-Cancun and Dallas-Cancun flights operated by Aeromexico. Delta currently offers daily nonstop service between Atlanta and Cancun, and twice-weekly nonstop service between Dallas/Ft. Worth and Cancun
