The data Alaska seeks to be treated as confidential relates to transactions or modification of transactions it has entered into with Polaris Aircraft for one Boeing B737-210C aircraft, and International Lease Finance Corp. for one Boeing 737400 aircraft. Alaska believes that information contained in its Schedule B-7 report is confidential and commercially-sensitive data, the premature public disclosure of which would cause substantial injury to Alaska.

Alaska Airlines, Inc. hereby submits this motion to withhold from public disclosure, certain information contained in Alaska's Form 41, Schedule B-43, for the period ending December 31, 2003, Inventory of Airframes and Aircraft Engines submitted herewith under seal, pursuant to Rule 39 of the Rules of Practice of the Department of Transportation. Alaska seeks to be treated as confidential information relating to cost, depreciation and values of certain airframes and engines purchased by Alaska. Alaska has submitted previous requests for confidential treatment for all such information in previous submissions to the DOT. Alaska believes that information contained in its Schedule B-43 report is confidential and commercially-sensitive data, the premature public disclosure of which would cause substantial injury to Alaska.
