Notice of Action

Exemption from 49 U.S.C. 41301 to conduct charter foreign air transportation of property and mail between a point or points in Ecuador and a point or points in the United States, and other all-cargo charters, in accordance with the Department's regulations (14 CFR Part 212.) The applicant proposed to conduct operations under wet lease from a duly authorized and properly supervised U.S. or foreign carrier.

ATR hereby applies for a renewal of its exemption authority to conduct charterall-cargo operations between points in Ecuador on the one hand, and points in the United Stateson the other hand, and other all-cargo charters in accordance with the Department's regulations. In support of its renewal application, ATR states as follows:By Notice of Action Taken dated May 13, 1997, ATR was awarded exemptionauthority for a period of one (1) year to conduct all-cargo charters between Ecuador and theUnited States, together with other all-cargo charters in accordance with the Department'sregulations. These charter flights are to be operated pursuant to a wet lease from a dulyauthorized and properly supervised U.S. or foreign air carrier. By its own terms, this authoritywill expire on May 13, 1997.
