Application for Renewal of Exemption
Alaska hereby respectfully requests renewal of its exemption authority granted to it by the Department to perform scheduled foreign air transportation of persons, property and mail between Los Angeles, California, on the one hand, and Ixtapa/ Zihuatanejo, Mexico, on the other hand. Such authority was last granted to Alaska on July 15, 1996 and expires on July 15, 1998. Alaska requests renewal of this authorization for at least two years. Alaska will continue to operate weekly nonstop service. All operations will be conducted with MD-80 aircraft.
