AIA anticipates that it will have opportunities for cargo service to the United States necessitating renewal of its exemption. To the extent necessary to obtain FAA concurrence in the renewal of its exemption, AIA will accept continuation of the restriction on its exemption authority that its U.S. Operations be conducted via wet lease from a U.S. carrier or foreign carrier acceptable to the United States.

Applicant is a private entity established in 1985 to provide cargo charter flights to and from Swaziland. The Government of Swaziland has fully supported and encouraged the efforts of AIA to develop the Swazi air cargo market. Although AIA has only conducted limited operations to the United States, AIA anticipates that it will have opportunities for cargo service to the United States necessitating renewal of its exemption. To the extent necessary to obtain FAA concurrence in the renewal of its exemption, AIA will accept continuation of the restriction on its exemption authority that its U.S. operations be conducted via wet lease from a U.S. carrier or foreign carrier acceptable to the United States.
