Continental Micronesia currently operates five weekly B-757 nonstop flights between Guam and Denpasar. Continental Micronesia requires the flexibility to substitute a B-727 for the B-757 on this route, however, as demand requires. Because the effective range of that aircraft is less than that of the B-757, an intermediate stop is required in Palau, and passengers and shippers would be convenienced by having a Guam-Palau-Denpasar flight option available to them. No other carrier provides service between Palau and Indonesia or Guam.
