Application for Renewal of an Exemption and Statements of Authorization

ALM Antillean Airlines, N.V. ("ALM") hereby applies for renewal of (l) its exemption to serve Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic as an intermediate point in conjunction with its Netherlands Antilles-Miami operations; (2) its Statement of Authorization to display United Airlines' ("UA") designator code on flights ALM operates between Miami and the Netherlands Antilles via Santo Domingo and/or Puerto Plata, the Dominican Republic, pursuant to its code-share agreement with United; (3) its Statement of Authorization to use the "UA" designator code on flights ALM operates between Caracas, Venezuela and Curacao, Netherlands Antilles; and (4) its Statement of Authorization to use the "UA" designator code on flights ALM operates between Miami, on the one hand, and Curacao and Bonaire, Netherlands Antilles, on the other hand, either nonstop or via Aruba, and/or Port-au-Prince, Haiti. ALM requests that this authority be renewed for a period of two years.

Order Dismissing Applications

The carriers listed above have applied for various forms of authority or relief under Title 49 of the United States Code in order to perform the air transportation activities described in the appendix to this order. Each application has either been withdrawn by the applicant or otherwise become moot. Therefore, we find that these applications should be dismissed.ACCORDINGLY, acting under authority assigned by the Department in its Regulations, 14 CFR §385.13, we dismiss the applications described in the appendix to this order.
